Commissioning of a Dinitrotoluene Plant in Korea

One of the world’s largest plants for the production of Dinitrotoluene (DNT) including the pertaining acid reconcentration plant was put into service in October 2003 at the Yeosu plant site of BASF AG in the Republic of Korea. The plant is designed for a capacity of 200,000 tons per year and works according to the world-wide leading MEISSNER technology for DNT.
