Revamping

Besides of planning and erection of new plants as a typical area of activity, Meissner also offer their services in the field of revamping and adaptation of equipment for existing plants. In this respect, Meissner is not restricted to plants which work according to own processes, but is ready as well for modernization of plants which are based on other processes after previous examination of the existing plant and process design. Such revamping may concern for example a capacity increase by de-bottlenecking of plant components, a changeover to new process variants and new products, or an exchange of plant components which need to be replaced, or which are technologically outdated. The individual steps of a plant modernization, such as planning, erection, delivery, and commissioning in the course of a revamping, are executed by Meissner with the same demand on quality as for new plants.
